I really like the Coconut Dream Cream for a number of reasons, but I honestly can’t recommend it as a sun block. My husband and I used this for one day while we were at the beach and we both got burnt to a crisp. We applied it about every 45-60 minutes, or maybe even more frequently, per recommended and we couldn’t believe how bad our sun burn was. We didn’t get a burn this bad all summer long and now in one day it was so, so bad. We continued to use it for a few days following (because we didn’t have any other moisturizer with us on vacation) and the sunburn did heal quickly and did not peal, so I can recommend it for that. But I wish the burn hadn’t happened in the first place, and it wouldn’t have if the cream had done what it was advertised to do. I do love this as a moisturizer, but I would not recommend this to anyone as a sun block.

Coconut Dream Hydrating Cream is designed primarily as a deeply nourishing moisturizer and is sometimes used as a natural sun-care option, but it is not a traditional sunscreen and does not contain chemical UV filters. As noted on the product page, we’re unable to assign an exact SPF, and sun protection can vary based on skin type, application, and exposure conditions. For extended or intense sun exposure, additional protective measures are always recommended.

I absolutely LOVE this cream! I’m almost 60 and it’s been so difficult to find a moisturizer that wasn’t greasy and actually works. This cream sinks right in and doesn’t leave a film on my face. In fact, I can double up with my favorite sunscreen and it doesn’t interfere with that. It pairs really well with the Basey liquid and powder foundation. My skin actually looks healthier by the end of the day. I’m hoping, come summer, that I can give it a test run without my sunscreen and just use this alone. I’m trying so hard to get away from commercial cosmetic and skin care preparations. I will say, at night, I use this after cleansing and my niacinimide serum, then I pat in organic caster oil. My skin has completely stopped flaking in this winter freeze. I’m also sensitive from using Tretinoin a couple of times a week. That flaking has also stopped. It’s just great stuff all around and I would lose my marbles if it stopped being in stock. Well done, ladies!
I tried this tonight for the first time and WOW! It is a dream! It is soft, airy, and light. It has an amazing texture and it’s not oily or greasy at all. I don’t like my face to feel oily at all and this makes it feel moisturized but not oily. I love that feeling. I will definitely be purchasing this again! Love THM products so much!

I absolutely love this cream. It feels amazing and doesn’t feel like it dries out after 3 hours. This is also the absolute best post-swim moisturizer, for that dryness chlorine leaves on your face. I have also been applying to some recent surgical scars and I can already notice a difference, moreso than pricey scar creams
