I am looking at my liquid Basey bottle. I do not see the name of the shade. I was hoping to use it to help select the correct powder. It is the name of the shade on the bottle and I’m just missing it?

I do love the Made basey compact. For a ‘mature’ complexion it smooths out the lines that life has gifted me. Next, I would love to see a powder(?) or something that would cover/smooth out the age spots under the Basey, to be applied before…still not a liquid that will settle into to lines on my face.

Is it the color of the powder foundation the same as the liquid?
Also is the powder foundation made for more mature skin? or oily skin?

I had tried the liquid at first but with middle aged skin, I found it settled into my fine lines a bit too much. Saw the powder was recommended for similar skin to mine and I finally got some. I absolutely love it! It lays on my skin nicely, and the tone (Girl Next Door), which seemed slightly too dark when I tested it on my hand, was perfect once it was on my face and blended in. And like “The Fountain,” it makes my skin so soft! It doesn’t wear off until I take it off, and the smoothness lasts the whole time.

I have been trying to find the best foundation for my skin. I tried the liquid Basey first since there are smaller samples. I have fair skin with cool undertones. I tried Fair maiden liquid first and it was way too pale for me, so I got English Rose. That was a much better color match, but I didn’t particularly like using the liquid for everyday, so I wanted to get the pressed powder. Unfortunately the English Rose powder was darker than my skin, which was a surprise, so next time I will try Fair Maiden. I am pretty sure it will be just right or will mix with the English Rose to be what I need. I love the coverage of the powder.

I really like this product! I have most of the THM makeup line except the lip stick. All are wonderful, however, I am giving a 4 star because the containers the items come in are terrible. The case for foundation broke within a week. The words off all the bottles smear/come off over time. The mascara bottle came apart as well (where the wand is attached).
