Makes 12

Ingredients:
1 packet TH Brownie Mix
1 egg (or 2 if you prefer cake-like brownies)
½ – ¾ cup warm water (3/4 cup water makes for a more gooey brownie)
½ cup salted butter, melted. For dairy-free, use melted coconut oil plus add a generous pinch of mineral salt.
½ – 1 tsp vanilla or your favorite extract
Desired amount of plan-approved chocolate chips or nuts, or both! (optional)

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 – 400 degrees and spray an 8″ or 9″ square pan with coconut or olive oil spray. Use parchment paper if preferred.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the egg(s), water, melted butter, or coconut oil, and extract. Add the brownie mix and stir until well combined. Add chocolate chips and/or nuts, if desired. Pour into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top of the batter.
  3. Bake for 20-25 minutes until only slightly wiggly in the center. Cool, cut, and enjoy!

Optional pans:
Brownie pan – bake for about 18 minutes.
Donut hole pan – bake for about 12 minutes.

    Glad I tried it, but just a little too sweet for my liking. I’ll continue to make the ‘double peanut fudge swirl brownies’ – those are spot on.

    I screen shot the instructions so I don’t have to look them up all the time.

    I was hesitant about how good these brownies would taste. While they have a different taste than the alternative, they are delicious in their own right. I am make my second batch this evening, adding Lily’s chocolate chips and walnuts. I really enjoyed them this way last time. I may try a different variation the next time.

    These brownies were so much better than I expected! I added 1/4 cup of Lily’s chocolate chips and chopped walnuts on top. While they don’t taste quite like regular brownies, they will be a GREAT substitute for when I want something chocolaty and sweet!!

    These brownies are the best! I am not a fan of the THM desserts, but these are truly amazing! They don’t taste healthy. I will be ordering more!
